One Month Left!

Can't believe how quickly this is coming round!
Still loads left to sort out - done the travel insurance already so that one thing off the list.
Post Office Travel Insurance
Added my travel buddy Sam onto the bug insurance so we can take the driving in stints if need be!
Will be having a full on sort out of the bug, checking everything does what it should and making sure that parts I carry are right and essential - no excess baggage here!!
Still haven't fixed a campsite for the day before and day after the show Need to get this sorted ASAP!!
There are some awesome vids on YouTube from the last EBI:

Ferry Tickets!

Booked up the ferry tickets, so that sorts out the getting there and being there!
Booked a day each side of the Bug-In so as to break up the journey a bit, will stop overnight somewhere in either Belgium or France, thats the next step really sorting out some accomodation! Hmm under canvas or BnB..???
Beetle is due for MOT later in the month, so that will be the ticket that carries it through the duration of the event, hope it sails through with no issues - we shall see!! Tax is also due - though this is freeeeee!!
Howeever insurance is very much NOT free - ny a long shot! So will see how much that hurts next month!
Will actually need the european cover this time hey!

Tickets have arrived!!

I guess this would be a good place to kick off the Blog really. Now the tickets have hit the mat is probably as well to start turning my attention to meticulously setting the car up, and getting a few shake-down runs in, ready for the 800mile+ round trip to Chimay, Belgium for the European Bug-In 4.
Now this may seem a little early to be thinkin about all this, but, the trip is only 6 pay-cheques away, and everything has got to be managed carefully, on account of me being skint!!

Still a lot to sort in terms of getting ferry/chunnel tickets booked (early bird gets the worm..) aannd sorting out a couple of nights camping either side of the show, so it doesn't feel like such a mad rush!
